ClassGraphic West of the 100th meridian, water becomes a scarce resource in the US. In this course, we will explore the major water issues of the West which spurred on the idea of conservation and preservation in the US. Our focus will be Glen Canyon, the Colorado River, Dinosaur National Monument, the Los Angeles Aqueduct and Yosemite National Park.
