NEW DATE: Botanical Drawing Workshop - Indoor NEW

Learn how to observe and record blooms by using a combination of regular and watercolor colored pencils. Demonstrations will review how to capture intimate botanical details through the use of foundational principles such as proportion, form, perspective, tone, value, and basic color theory. Whether you are new to botanical drawing or have previous experience, this workshop will leave you feeling inspired and encouraged.

Art supplies must be purchased in advance of this workshop.

 

For new students: $5.25 (cash only) to defray the cost of flowers and a sheet of Dura-Lar matte film.

For students who have previously taken a colored pencils class at the Adult School: $2.00 (cash only), AND do an inventory of your art supplies against the list of art supplies required for this class!
