History of Montclair's Essex County Parks - Online

ID : 46177
« back to classes page
ClassGraphic With the exception of Newark, Montclair can claim more Essex County Parks than any other municipality.  Acquisitions occurred between the 1890s, when the Essex County Park Commission was formed, and the past decade when well-established locations were added.  The history of these parks reflects park development in the rest of the county and yet each has a unique story to tell. Join Kathy Kauhl, Archivist, Essex County Parks for an enlightening family oriented talk about Montclair's many treasures
